“Out of the ordinary is normal for us, so we have the well honed skills necessary to make each project we undertake flow smoothly on behalf of our customers.”

Radioactive Materials Transportation

Our head office is located in a small community in Eastern Ontario near the U.S. and Quebec borders. Many of the radioactive shipments we carry originate in Eastern Canada and the containerized shipments we transport are then transported to U.S. Ports on both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. We also handle the transport of radioactive materials back into Canada.

Cobalt 60 isotopes, D20 (heavy water), Cesium 137, Fissile materials, transformers and SNF (spent nuclear fuel) are all commodities we transport on an exclusive truckload use with specialized equipment including:

  • Flatbed, rolling tarp 48’ trailers
  • Step decks and machinery trailers
  • 48’ refrigerated trailers for heavy water transport
  • Modified, radioactive flask trailers
  • Radioactive containerization

We are in constant communication with our drivers through both cellular and satellite methods. Depending on the transit times required we utilize both single and driver teams. Out of the ordinary is normal for us, so we have the well honed skills necessary to make each project we undertake flow smoothly on behalf of our customers.
